"HAPPY SYMMETRY DAY!!!" You yelled to your striped haired best friend.

"What are you talking about?" Death the Kid (obviously the best friend mentioned before) asked you.

"It's the 88th day of the year! Symmetry day!" You smile. You loved it when Kid talked about symmetry. You thought it was completely adorable, and some of it had rubbed off on you.

"I knew you looked different today. Your outfit is perfectly symmetrical." Kid looked you from Head to toe.

"I dressed for the occasion." You laughed.

"You look beautiful. This is my new favorite holiday." Kid said, making you blush.

You couldn't help but to have a massive crush on your best friend. You thought everything about him was amazing. It was obvious that he liked you too. Well... Obvious to everyone else BUT you.

"Since this is such a special day, How about I invite everyone to my mansion for a party?" He said, obviously inviting you.

"That would be amazing! Nothing's better than celebrating symmetry in the most symmetrical place on earth!" You exclaimed.
Kid blushed at that comment.

"I-I doubt it has the most symmetry on EARTH. I-I mean c'mon." Kid stuttered.

"What are you talking about! I have never seen such beautiful symmetry as the kind you create." You flattered him.
He smiled at you.

"That means a lot..." He said looking into your eyes.
You began to blush as well.

"D-Do you need my help setting up for the party?" You asked helpfully.

"Not really, I can take care of it... What you can do is get the word out, and invite all of our friends." Kid smiled again.
You loved Kid's smile.

"Can do." You nodded. You smiled and waved a goodbye before saying "See ya later Kid."

He waved back and uttered a goodbye.
You couldn't help but look back at his beautiful face one more time.

'I love you' you thought silently before going off to find your friends.


*FLASH FORWARD TO PARTAY TIME*

You got to Kid's mansion around 8. The perfect time on such a perfect holiday. You knocked on his door 8 times (as always) and he opened the door.

"Hi ______. I'm glad you could make it..." He smiled.

"Are you kidding! I wouldn't miss this for the world!" You cried a big grin on your face.

"Come on in, the others are already here." Kid motioned you inside.

Even in the front hall you could hear Patty's unmistakable laughter.
You follow Kid into the living room and see everyone you helped invite earlier.
Patty was in the corner dying about something Black*Star said, that you could already tell wasn't that funny. Tsubaki was calmly sitting in a chair shaking her head about Black*Star's unfunny joke. Liz was reading a magazine on the couch, sitting next to Maka who was trying to get Crona to have more fun. And Soul was sitting on the floor, play some game on a PSP, trying to look as cool as possible.

"Hiya!" You greeted walking in.

You got 7 replies of 'Hi''s and 'Hello''s from the others.

"You all know this is a special occasion, so I want you all to enjoy yourselves." Kid announced to his friends.

"Heheh. What exactly was this party for again?" Patty asked, clueless as ever.

"It's symmetry day!" You said cheerfully.

You heard a few others groan in annoyance.

"Oh c'mon guys. Think about how special this is for Kid. It's a great day! Have as much fun as possible!" You said trying to lift everyones spirits.

"They just don't understand the need for symmetry as well as you do..." Kid sighed turning to you.

You had to conceal your blush. You'd learned how to after liking Kid for so long.

"Hey! Why don't we play some party games or something?" Maka suggested, making Crona jump slightly.

"Sounds cool..." Soul said, shutting off his game.

"I'll play.... what game did you have in mind?" Tsubaki asked.

"LETS PLAY SPIN THE BOTTLE IN HEAVEN." Patty shrieked.

Almost everyone in the room blushed.

"I-I think you mixed a few games together Patty..." You stutter.

"I am... It's basically 7 minutes in heaven... but to decide who goes in the closet, we play spin the bottle." Patty explained.

"NONSENSE! We can't play seven minutes in heaven..." Kid began, being the voice of reason.

"You have to make it EIGHT minutes..." He finished.

"DEAL! EVERYONE MAKE A CIRCLE!" Patty screamed.

The room obeyed, and everyone sat in a circle.
Liz had just finished a soda, so Patty stole the bottle and put it in the center of the circle.

"Okay... so the first person it lands on, has to go in the closet with who the bottle lands on the second spin." Patty explained.

You watched in horror as Patty spun the bottle. It swirled around and around until creeping to a stop.

"_______! EHEHEH Let's see who you have to go in with!" Patty laughed evilly.

You gulped as she spun the bottle around again. You closed your eyes and heard the bottle slow to a stop. You opened one eye, to see the bottle was pointed at Kid.
All the times you had concealed your blushes came flooding back, as your face turned redder than Soul's eyes.
You looked at Kid who also had a rather noticeable blush.
Patty instantly grabbed you two by your arms, and shoved you into the nearest closet.
The door slammed shut, and you heard the click of a lock behind you.
It was dark, but you could feel how close Kid was to you.
Your heart skipped a beat when he began to speak.

"_-_____..." He said quietly.

"I-I want to tell you something..." He stuttered

"W-What is It?" You asked.

"Ever since you came to the Academy... I.... I just couldn't think straight. You were always on my mind. Everything about you. Your smile, your eyes, your hair, your laugh, and so much more has been stuck in the front of my mind. You're my best friend, You're there for me when I'm upset. You share my love for symmetry. You make me laugh with your jokes. You make me cry when you're upset. I feel something about you I've never felt towards anyone else. I know people say It's impossible for Shinigami to love... But I think they're wrong. _________.... I love you..."

You were speechless. You didn't know he felt the same way about you. You had so much you wanted to say to him, but your brain wouldn't allow you. But there was one thing your brain did allow you to do.
You kissed Kid, pushing your lips against his, putting every ounce of love and every word left unsaid into one kiss, then quietly pulled away.

"I love you too Kid... And I've waited a while to hear you say that." You smiled.

Kid suddenly pushed you to the wall and brought his lips to yours. You were a little shocked, but you quickly responded by kissing him back, and wrapping your arms around his neck. He felt so warm pressed up against you. His hands laid on your waist, as the two of you kissed over, and over. You felt his tongue lick your lips, and automatically opened your mouth. His tongue danced with yours, as your saliva mixed together. You moaned slightly, and Kid's hands wandered up and down your back. Your jacket began to slide off, and before you could fix it, Kid had moved his hands to it, and slid it off of you, throwing it to the floor. Honestly, you didn't care, you just wanted more of the feeling you felt kissing him. He pulled his mouth away from yours, making you whine in protest. He bit down on your neck, making you gasp.

"K-Kid..." You breathe the words. He begins to suck at your flesh, making a noticeable bruise above your collar bone.

"Can't forget the other side on such a symmetrical day, now can we?" He whispered into your ear, making you feel all hot inside.

He bit the exact same place on the other side of your neck, sucking it until It left an Identical mark to the other one.
Still hungering for his lips, you brought them back to you mouth. This kiss was a lot sloppier than the previous one, because Kid was trying to remove your shirt while kissing you. You smirked into the kiss, and helped him unbutton it all the way, exposing your bra, and stomach. Kid smiled, and ran his hand up the front of your body. It gave you goosebumps, but you still remained, making out with the boy in front of you. As your tongues danced together once again, the door swung open.

"Time's u-" Patty stood in the doorway.

You and Kid suddenly separated. You both had a blush across your faces. You saw the others peeking around Patty, trying to see inside. Patty just began to giggle hysterically.

"Kiddo's got a girlfriend, Kiddo's got a girlfriend!" She sang, still laughing.
You smile and look at Kid (who I mind you looks like he's about to MURDER Patty).

"You're right Patty. I guess he does. Y'know... If you're okay with that Kid." You say before bringing your lips to his.

He kisses you back for a second before replying "I'm perfectly okay with it."
